mental health Counseling
an assisted Self-healing journey

Trauma is the internal response to an experience that impares our ability to cope and overwhelms our nervous system.
It is an event (or group of events) that happened too much, too fast.
It is also be the absence of care that was crucial to our sense of safety and development.
Trauma is part of the human experience. And it impacts everyone differently.

Normal responses to trauma
Healing trauma
Healing from trauma is not easy, but neither is living with it.

Healing from trauma is an active choice as well as an investment in ourselves and in the people around us. Healing from our own trauma also helps to heal the generations before and after us.

In my work as a trauma specialist, I integrate both traditional and alternative approaches to healing, blending evidence-based methods with holistic and intuitive strategies.
